Camper Stew
1 (10-12 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 lb. ground beef
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
1 green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 tsp. MSG (optional)
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. oregano
4 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
This is the first time I've seen this recipe by this name, since my mom's recipe box. Big Time family favorite and I still have the original magazine clipping somewhere.
